Fix A Phone Saved Me

So a couple months ago I somehow, still not sure how, fell asleep to a perfectly fine Surface Pro and woke up to a Surface with a broken screen. My heart sank and I wasn't sure what I was going to do! The screen was cracked all the way from top to bottom. Must have been a rough night in bed because the Surface was sitting beside the bed and somehow still was broken. I panicked briefly when I saw that Microsoft wanted $600 to either fix or replace the device. Did I have $600.... NO! With a heavy heart I started researching costs to do it myself and came up around $210, that is a little more manageable! I watched a couple of videos on how to do it and of course they made it look easy.
I just so happened to be driving through town later that day and came across a store front called Fix A Phone. Sounded generic but looked nice from the outside! Went in and they assured me that they could fix the device for $245 plus tax. After some heavy convincing they assured me they were professionals and my Surface would be in good hands. 5 to 7 days sir and we will have it ready for you. I am not normally a patient person so the next 7 days seemed to drag by! I called for a status check in 7 days, and they said they had to apologize but they were sent the wrong part. I was crushed and a little nervous at the same time. "Sir it will be another 7 days" The next 7 days was another nightmare! Once again I had to wait! I called them 7 days later and they said "Only a couple more days and we promise it will be fixed" My anxiety level was near through the roof at this point. I trusted them to fix something that is extremely important to me and its been nothing but problems. They said "We are going to put a free liquid glass application on it for you for all your troubles" Bonus there! I called them 2 days later and they said you can come pick it up. I was nervous!
I showed up right before close and they were expecting me. The tech brought the Surface out from the back and handed it to me. At first glance it looked perfect but time to test the touch screen. I fired it up and so far so good. I put it through its paces and it worked perfect. I was overwhelmed with happiness. They did an amazing job and just may have made a customer for life for all my electronic repairs. The in store tech made a friend with me that day. We talked shop for a few minutes and then I was on my way. If you need a professional experience and have a piece of electronics that need fixed I highly recommend Fix a Phone in Marion Ohio. Speed Up Your Computer

For Article Click Here So I sat out the mission tonight to speed up my lagging laptop. I recently had to revert back to this because my Surface Pro is temporarily out of commission. That's what happens when you somehow, even if you don't know how, break an extremely nice piece of technology. My great laptop was running slow. Here are the specs of my laptop and you tell me if it should choke on anything. 1 TB hard drive, 8 GB of Ram and 4 GB of video Ram. If you ask me this thing should zing through anything. I found myself a little frustrated with it when the Surface Pro had half the specs. The only thing I could think of was that the HD in the Surface was solid state and maybe that where the difference was. After some soul searching and a little bit of research I realized that the bloatware on my laptop may be what was slowing it down. I decided to spend about an hour and clean up the HD. After some much needed house keeping I realized that it was needed. This baby is bac...

Google Pixel XL 2

Pixel 2 XL review Tech Review No headphone jack Android Oreo is available Water resistant 6 inch display Arguably one of the best cameras on the market Dual front facing speakers The Pixel 2 clues us in on why Google called its phone series Pixel: it was building the best camera on a phone. This second-generation effort fulfills that promise with not only the best-in-class photos, but also dual front-facing speakers and water-resistance. It's a great size, but you'll need to be okay with its dated looks and the fact that there’s no headphone jack. Expandable storage would have been nice but with so many free cloud storage options, honestly…..,who cares!
