Samsung Gear S3 Classic

Samsung Gear S3 Classic

So not too long ago my dress watch's battery died so I decided to purchase this through Verizon and give it a try. I opted for the number share feature that allows you to use this device standalone even if you are away from your phone. It connects to my phone via bluetooth but can also work with the number share service I have. The previous versions of the Gear were ok but something about the look of this one and the standard watch band that can be purchased made this a great option for me. The Samsung Gear S2 was alright but the limited number of bands that could be purchased was a bit of a let down and its looks weren't quite what I was hoping for. It looked ok for day to day usage but looked a bit silly when I would dress up for dinner or things of that nature. What a refreshing purchase the S3 has been. Out of the box professional looking and I have to say the performance and options this watch has when paired with my Note 8 are incredible. I always thought fitness watches like the Fit Bit were kind of silly but I have come to love the Samsung Health features on this watch. I just started a step challenge with my boss, first to 30000 wins. If I'm not mistaken the watch debuted in late 2016 so it should be interesting to see what Samsung comes out with next. The application notification features are perfect from phone to watch. If my phone ever sends a notification I can select which apps then send notifications to my watch. All of my important apps, or at least ones I pay close attention to notify my watch. If my phone is in my pocket and I hear a notification and it doesn't alert me on my watch then I really don't care what it was. I get a nice run down of the notification for instance with gmail. I can read the email right there on my watch or just get the jist of it and look at it on my phone. Want to make a call and don't feel like lugging out your phone? Why not just dial right from your wrist, same thing with text messages all though typing on my watch is really cumbersome. All in all yet another amazing piece of technology that ties into my daily life. Recommend this to anyone looking to change how you can use your phone and oh by the way I guess it does tell you the time too LOL

Speed Up Your Computer

For Article Click Here So I sat out the mission tonight to speed up my lagging laptop. I recently had to revert back to this because my Surface Pro is temporarily out of commission. That's what happens when you somehow, even if you don't know how, break an extremely nice piece of technology. My great laptop was running slow. Here are the specs of my laptop and you tell me if it should choke on anything. 1 TB hard drive, 8 GB of Ram and 4 GB of video Ram. If you ask me this thing should zing through anything. I found myself a little frustrated with it when the Surface Pro had half the specs. The only thing I could think of was that the HD in the Surface was solid state and maybe that where the difference was. After some soul searching and a little bit of research I realized that the bloatware on my laptop may be what was slowing it down. I decided to spend about an hour and clean up the HD. After some much needed house keeping I realized that it was needed. This baby is bac...

Google Pixel XL 2

Pixel 2 XL review Tech Review No headphone jack Android Oreo is available Water resistant 6 inch display Arguably one of the best cameras on the market Dual front facing speakers The Pixel 2 clues us in on why Google called its phone series Pixel: it was building the best camera on a phone. This second-generation effort fulfills that promise with not only the best-in-class photos, but also dual front-facing speakers and water-resistance. It's a great size, but you'll need to be okay with its dated looks and the fact that there’s no headphone jack. Expandable storage would have been nice but with so many free cloud storage options, honestly…..,who cares!
